Success Stories
Our clients come from all walks of life. Some are homeless, some are the working poor, some are middle class that have had some hard breaks or made unwise decisions. Most are in generational poverty; some are in situational poverty. Whatever the case, they are unique. Here are a few of their stories:
Renee
September 2009 In 2008, 3 months after building and moving into my new house, it burned. I lost everything I owned that was in the house. As God worked on me, he was also working on others to show His love towards me. Bridging the Gap (BTG) heard of my misfortune and contacted me during the time my house was being rebuilt. They provided me with food, clothing, books, and basic necessities to live. The assistance from BTG was not only natural, but spiritual. I know they prayed for me as much as they helped me. Out of their generosity new relationships were formed, faith increased and God put me back on track. Now, I'm proud to say that I'm a part of the BTG team of volunteers, We're helping others get back on their feet and find hope in their hopeless situation. |
